Yes. The Poesis Oracle supports both beginners and seasoned intuitive practitioners. There's no previous required in tarot or divination to use this deck. 

Poesis offers an embodied creative experience—combining symbolic, dreamlike art with poetic guidance. It invites intuitive clarity, emotional resonance, and personal insight, without rigid systems or gatekeeping.

The artwork is fluid and inclusive, designed to honor inner experience rather than define identity. Forms, gestures, and symbolism evoke universality, inviting each reader to bring their own story, without gender or cultural constraints.

The cards are heavier than most decks you may have used, 350gsm art paper with a matte, rose petal-like finish. That weight is a deliberate choice. It slows the shuffle down and asks you to be present with each card rather than rushing through. Some people find the stock takes a few sessions to loosen and settle into an easier shuffle. If you prefer, a spread-and-mix on the table works just as well as a traditional riffle.

Yes! We ship to most countries around the world, but not all. If your country isn’t listed at checkout, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to explore options and see what’s possible for you.

US orders are Tariff-free.

Please note: any customs duties, VAT, or import taxes outside US are not charged by our shop and are the customer’s responsibility. These fees may be collected by your local postal service upon delivery and vary by country.

International: 14–28 business days 
Please allow 1–3 business days for order processing. During peak times, processing may take slightly longer. 

If you're outside of North America, it's common for tracking to appear inactive for the first 1–2 weeks after your order ships. This is because the next scan usually happens only once the parcel has reached your region (e.g., Europe, the UK, etc.). During this time, your package is in transit or awaiting customs processing. While the delay can feel unclear, your parcel is still moving through the system—we deeply appreciate your patience.

Yes. All packages include tracking. You’ll receive a tracking number by email once your order ships.

We no longer offer local pickup for online orders. If you're in Vancouver and would like to shop in person, you can find Poesis at Walrus. Check their hours and availabilities before you go.

We offer 30‑day returns or exchanges for unused items in original condition.
Returned items must be in their original packaging. Return postage is the customer’s responsibility, and we recommend using a trackable or insured service. Once received and inspected, refunds (minus shipping) will be issued within 7–10 business days. 
Exchanges are available only for defective or damaged items—please contact us right away.

Yes—Hachette/Éléphant et Lotus has published a mass‑printed French edition. It features a different box design and distinct guidebook, though the core card content and poems are beautifully translated into French. In contrast, our independent English edition is printed on premium cardstock, with a richly expanded guidebook that dives into the deck’s creation, intuitive practices, and deeper reading guidance. Made in smaller batches with our original vision, it’s crafted as a collectible item.
